چکیده
Plasma optical spectroscopy and laser-induced breakdown (both on off-line) are used in this work to analyze the effects of different perturbations applied a tungsten inert gas welding process. This approach enables analysis comparison spectra acquired with two setups, thus providing more information about process evolution dynamics resulting chemical composition seams. It will be demonstrated that, agreement previous studies, elements gives rise rich regarding weld quality, enabling on-line monitoring arc-welding processes. Elements such as lithium or sodium, not commonly employed spectroscopic processes, prove provide interesting surface defects contamination. Additionally, LIBS 2D scanning performed seams enable detailed elemental distributions.

the central purpose of this study was to conduct a case study about the role of self monitoring in teacher’s use of motivational strategies. furthermore it focused on how these strategies affected students’ motivational behavior. although many studies have been done to investigate teachers’ motivational strategies use (cheng & d?rnyei, 2007; d?rnyei & csizer, 1998; green, 2001, guilloteaux & d?...
Metal Transfer and Arc Plasma in Gas Metal Arc Welding
This article analyzes the transient complex heat transfer and fluid flow in molten metal and arc plasma during the gas metal arc welding process. The model predicts the formation, growth, detachment, and transfer of droplets from the tip of a continuously fed electrode under the influences of several competing forces including gravity, electromagnetic force, arc pressure, plasma shear stress, a...
متن کاملDefect Detection in Arc-Welding Processes by Means of the Line-to-Continuum Method and Feature Selection
Plasma optical spectroscopy is widely employed in on-line welding diagnostics. The determination of the plasma electron temperature, which is typically selected as the output monitoring parameter, implies the identification of the atomic emission lines. As a consequence, additional processing stages are required with a direct impact on the real time performance of the technique. The line-to-con...
